According to The Washington Post, the doctor who made international headlines for helping to “functionally” cure a toddler of HIV is a former Christian missionary to Africa. Dr Hannah Gay, a University of Mississippi Medical Center pediatrician, spent years in Ethiopia doing missions work with her husband.
