It's about time the US did something. People really need to stop discriminating against the gay community. Sure, maybe WE don't believe that marriage should be between two of the same sex, but that is OUR opinion, and not theirs. We shouldn't force our opinion on them. That is THEIR sin, not ours. And we shouldn't be preoccupied with it. If they want to get married, as a human being, they shouldn't be denied that right, and I'm glad the US government is doing something to make life more equal for the gay community.

Morality is about right and wrong,
and thats what laws put into legal form. Can you think of one law which
doesnt declare one behavior right and its opposite wrong? The truth is
all laws legislate morality (even speed limits imply a moral right
to life). And everyone in politics conservatives, libertarians and liberals
is trying to legislate morality. The only question is: Whose morality
should be legislated?
