The death toll from the July 3 suicide bombing in Baghdad is currently at 324 people and could continue to rise, according to Iraq’s health minister.
ISIS claimed responsibility the attack, which was the deadliest bombing in Iraq since the United States took down Saddam Hussein in 2003.
The number of casualties could continue to climb, as it has, because people are being identified as dead instead of missing, the health minister, Adela Hmound said.
The bombing happened on a busy commercial street of the capital city as ISIS has been losing ground in Iraq.
