NBC has announced that the final episode of The Office will air on Thursday, May 16. The hour-long finale also happens to be the series’ 200th episode. Though some series favorites may return for the send-off—like Mindy Kaling, B.J. Novak and Zach Woods (who played Gabe)—don’t expect to see Michael Scott. NBC chairman Robert Greenblatt recently said, “[Steve Carell] left in the way he wanted to leave, and he and Greg [Daniels] talked about it, and I don’t think he will. There’s maybe a little Hail Mary pass on a cameo, but I think the decision would be compromising his schedule” …
