One of Ghana’s most well-known pastors has caused a stir among the nation’s church leaders after announcing an “earth-shattering” prophecy. Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, founder of the Glorious Word Ministry International charismatic church, said that Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama will die this year.

During a local radio interview, Owusu Bempah claimed, “I have not been able to meet the president and inform him. A similar thing happened when I prophesied about the late President John Atta Mills (who died last year while in office), but they turned me away."
