An upcoming biopic about Apple founder Steve Jobs already looks like it could potentially be really good: It’s being written and directed by the team behind the acclaimed Facebook story The Social Network, writer Aaron Sorkin and director David Fincher. And now, it looks like it may have found its star. According to The Wrap, the filmmaker has said that either Christian Bale will play the iconic tech mogul, or Fincher’s not going to be involved at all.
Though Sony, the studio behind the film had no comment, the story notes that Bale’s resemblance to Jobs (not to mention his acting chops) make him a prime contender for the role. This may be enough to make us forget that Ashton Kutcher movie ever happened …
