Air Force Members No Longer Have to Say ‘So Help Me God’ in Oath

Following a legal complaint by an atheist airman, members of the United States Air Force will not have to repeat the phrase “so help me God” in their oath. The American Humanist Association said that they would sue on behalf of the service member, leading Air Force authorities to review the phrasing.
