Albuquerque may soon have a familiar face serving as County Commissioner. Actor Steven Michael Quezada has announced that he is running for the position, telling the AP, “I think I bring a new face to the Democratic Party.” If Quezada looks familiar, that’s because he played DEA Agent Steven Gomez in the Albuquerque-set crime drama Breaking Bad. Ironically, Quezada is currently a member of the school board, giving him access to local chemistry professors, who may or may not be involved in elaborate crime rings that he may or may not be infiltrating to avenge the death of his partner. Just speculating here.
