ACCORDING TO new statistics released by New York City’s government, a staggering 41 percent of all pregnancies in NYC end in abortion. Even more astounding: Among African-Americans, the percentage of unborn babies that are aborted goes up to 59.8 percent (ratios among other races ranged from 20.4 percent for non-Hispanic Whites to 41.3 percent for Hispanics and 22.7 percent for Asians). Remarkably, 41 percent is actually a decrease from the 46 percent recorded in the city only 12 years ago.
