Four top army officers in Rwanda have been put under house arrest for “acts of indiscipline” in relation to alleged business dealings in Democratic Republic of Congo. These dealings could involve taking minerals from DRC, which are often disputed as being conflict minerals. Among the officers arrested is the military intelligence chief, who has advised President Paul Kagame on security issues.
