As each individual entered the room for International Justice Mission’s Global Prayer Gathering, their eyes were filled with images chronicling the reality of modern-day slaves enduring brutal labor under the violence of a slave master.
The room was dark and the images darker. And then, without a sound, words began to appear on the screen.
