Golden Retriever! I had one that I trained to be my hearing dog and he was my best friend. I want another one.

An Alaskan Malamute, they're fairly large dogs that I can look at as a member of my family and treat as another person and not just an animal. They protect, they're loyal and fluffy!

cats are the best pet because;
1.) they have oh so much sass AND class
2.) they require minimalmaintenance
3.) who can resist their cuddly nature and big eyes?!

I have only lived a few years without a dog. They were sad years. Best years were those with several dogs. Grew up with Boston Terriers, mostly, now get Shetland Sheepdogs.
