Over The Rhine

This week we talk to one of our favorite folk/rock bands, Over the Rhine. The husband and wife duo has just released a beautiful double album called "Meet Me At the End of the World," and it's one you definitely need to add to your music collection. Plus, we bring you our current media recommendations, find out what coulorphobia is (hint: you'll be terrified too) and give you just a taste of some current candy news...

Question of the Week

What candy would you like to create?

If you could take two preexisting candies (or cookies) and combine them into one epic candy, what would your creation be and what would it be called? Bonus: we'll make and try our favorites on a future episode.

Double Stuffed Oreos with bacon bits in the cream. It is shockingly excellent.

Take the biscuit finger, topped with caramel and coated in dark chocolate, add espresso beans and you get Twixsppreso.

Take a Twix, but instead of caramel, put the creme from Cadbury Creme Eggs inside.

Even an avid CCE eater, like me, can get a little overwhelmed with the amount of filling involved. A little crunch would nicely balance it.

(Side note: I taught in England for a bit, and I bought 20 Cadbury Eggs at the airport before I left for home. I felt like I had to explain myself every person in line: "It's October.... This is like manna from Easter heaven!!")

Angry M&Ms: Plain M&Ms with a hot tamale center. It would be the perfect combo of sweet & spicy.

A Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, but instead of peanut butter, you fill it with Reese's Pieces.
