Matthew Perryman Jones

In This Episode

We talk to one of our favorite Nashville artists, Matthew Perryman Jones. Plus, podcast legend Lloyd Kinsley makes his triumphant return (and tells his horrific story of getting "hamboned").

Maya's out this week, so yes, the show quickly goes off the rails.

Question of the Week

You need advice? You've come to the right place!

Next week on the podcast we'll be introducing a new segment where we give you advice...the kind of advice you won't receive anywhere else. So this week we want you to ask us anything. What are the relational, spiritual, financial, political or professional questions that keep you up at night? We consider ourselves experts and want to help you find the answers to your pressing questions.

If you could combine any 2 animals to make your ideal pet, what would they be?
I'd probably go for a pet cheetah/bear. Partly because an animal of that size and mobility would be utterly terrifying, but mostly because it would either be calld a Beetah or a chear (pronounced chair).
p.s. I would name him Fizzles.

I had a thought while recently using the old phrase "Hit me like a ton of bricks", and it got me thinking... why bricks? Would being hit by a ton of bricks really be more painful/surprising than, lets say, a ton of ducks? What about feathers? What is so special about bricks?
