Rick Warren

In This Episode

This week, pastor Rick Warren visits the studio and talks about the strategy and heart behind the P.E.A.C.E. Plan, as well as how it's going. Plus, Levi Weaver performs a couple of amazing songs in the RELEVANT Studio and Jesse goes off on parking lot shopping carts and relives his time working at Kmart. It's a long episode (maybe our longest), but definitely one you won't want to miss.

My biggest pet peeve is when people that are my same age (24) or younger than me use terms of endearment when addressing me. Examples include - hun, sweetie, hunny, dear, sweetheart, etc. It's like they are talking to a baby and it is weird. Also, somewhat condescending. I feel like you have to be a certain age before earning the right to speak to people like they are children. I don't care if my grandma or other grandmas use such terms, but when a 16 year old that just happens to be taller than me calls me hun, yea...you get the point.

Here's another one:

I work at Starbuck's and I HATE it when regular customers (people who come in every morning) have me put $5 onto their Gold Card every day and then have me swipe it. They spend the money anyway and it would save both them and myself time if they would just put the $25-$30 they spend every week on there at the beginning of the week so that I don't have to refill it every day. It's especially annoying when there is a line of customers out the door behind them (as there usually is in the morning).

Chad, you are amazing. I missed the whole ending of the podcast, all about Snuggie Talk and all, because as soon as I heard the Phil Collins start, I was obsessed with whether or not you were going to time the talking to end right at the drum solo....and you did. You rock man!
