Yesterday, Facebook filed paperwork saying it would seek $5 billion for its initial public offering (IPO), meaning it will be possible to own stock in Facebook. It's only about half the amount some analysts projected. Either way, they'll probably easily get that much money—they own pretty much all the information in the world at this point ...
