A team of scientists in the U.K. has devised a fish robot that will be used to detect pollution. The five-foot-long robotic fish will roam rivers, lakes and oceans to determine pollution levels. The robo-fish will sniff out pollutants and transmit info back to scientists using Wi-Fi technology. It's unclear why they decided the robot had to be shaped like a fish. Probably because it looks cool ...

That's what I was thinking. Though it would probably be a be a whale or a shark (or a whale shark!) that might attempt it.
