TSA’s Hands Off Approach with Kids

For the most part, airport security checkpoints are a necessary evil. But when surveillance cameras showed airport workers patting down babies and children, it raised more than a few eyebrows. In response, TSA procedures now include instructions to avoid pat-downs on young children as much as possible, using basic screenings until there is legitimate cause for concern. We also hope they’ll refrain from judging our dirty socks we didn’t have time to change before coming to the airport …
