Professors Working on New Fixed Calendar

Professors at John Hopkins University have proposed a new kind of calendar that would sync days with dates. Your birthday would always be on a Wednesday, Christmas would always be on a Sunday, and so on. The fixed calendar would involve changing how many days are in each month and eliminating time zones, but would allow individuals and organizations to keep the same yearly schedule and somehow would never break the cycle of the Sabbath ...

A judge gave officials a conditional go-ahead should efforts to pump concrete into the sinkhole prove futile, and the county coroner confirmed that they will be ready to excavate after the investigation today...
