A young boy stands boldly against his enemy, looking small compared to the giant. The boy launches his weapon and with one swift strike, David defeats Goliath. But this time around in NBC’s new show Kings, David is armed with grenades and not smooth stones. 
The late night television landscape used to be a simple one. You watched Jay Leno if you went for more mainstream, sincere and affable comedy. Letterman set a more sarcastic and edgy tone. Conan O’Brien appealed to a post-modern generation with surrealism and anti-humor. The lines were clearly drawn, and most of America fit into one of the humor categories. With Leno stepping away from The Tonight Show, the late night television landscape has been thrown into upheaval.
