Everyone has a good “breakup song” they clung to in dark romantic days. But Phillip and Lia LaRue have a new appreciation for the “stay together song.”

“We were blessed we were able to be married five years before having kids, but we had the kids so close, 13 months apart,” says Phillip, a singer-songwriter and former member of the brother-sister Christian band LaRue. The subsequent births of their two daughters sent Lia into postpartum depression, and sent their happy marriage into turmoil.
