Copeland—Lakeland, Florida’s beloved indie rock outfit—hasn’t really been heard from since 2009, when they announced they were parting ways. It was a sad loss, because Copeland was one of the more interesting of the ’00s deluge of indie/emo rocksters, and their split was felt by anyone who appreciated heartfelt lyrics over aggressively catchy pop-rock anthems.
