This year, RELEVANT is expanding or launching several publications and web content strategies, and because of that we are always looking for experienced editorial professionals to possibly join our team -- both in-house and as outsource contributors. Opportunities may include copy editing, writing, assigning, editing and more. An established portfolio of published work is a must, as well as intimate knowledge of the Christian 18- to 34-year-old audience. ADVERTISING ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

RELEVANT Media Group is currently looking for an experienced advertising sales executive to be a cornerstone of our sales team as we pursue new strategies to expand our advertising base this year, particularly in mainstream consumer advertising. The ideal candidate has 5 years' media sales experience and experience working with advertising agencies and companies targeting the 18-34 demographic.
The account executive position will implement and manage the sales strategy to grow advertising revenue in both the RELEVANT web and print products, as well as new product launches planned for 2008 and 2009. Furthermore, the position will work with clients in selling RELEVANT Media Group's creative services, namely marketing strategy, print and web design. The position will manage budgets and projections, identify opportunities to develop new business, manage and grow our current sales base, and work with a group of advertising sales representatives to achieve corporate budgets. The ideal candidate is passionate about the media RELEVANT makes, knows our target demographic intimately, is self-motivated, experienced, entreprenuerial and very driven by growth opportunities.

WEB DESIGN
A major focus of RELEVANT Media Group is its digital media strategies, and our web design team is be the centerpiece of those developments. The ideal candidate is a big picture creative thinker and problem solver who is proficient in the latest web trends and technologies. Our web designers work on a wide range of projects, from major content-driven website development, to story graphics, to online marketing campaigns, to client projects, e-cards and more. A firm knowledge of the latest flash, CSS and PHP technologies is a must.
Primary Responsibilities:
Be a key part of the in-house web team to design websites and online marketing pieces for RELEVANT’s products, divisions and clients.
Create enhancements and modifications to web sites; organize and maintain the sites.
Code primarily in HTML, CSS and Flash (and knowing PHP)
Develop and create layouts for new sections and features to RELEVANT’s family of websites and digital publications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Outstanding design skills and a continual desire to grow, learn and stay on the front edge of design trends.
Ability to effectively manage time and schedules.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Strong knowledge and ability to hand-code HTML and CSS
Strong knowledge of front-end Flash development
Basic understanding of current authoring languages, editing and authoring tools, and related website technologies.
Skill in the use of Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash
